Village of the Embera Indians Tour

Take a Ride on Alajuela Lake where you will board a “Piragua”, a traditional indigenous Panamanian boat. You’ll start out heading West to the Mono waterfall where you can swim and refresh yourself. You’ll then move on to Tusipono Embera, a small traditional village located on the banks of the Chagres River in the middle of the rainforest. There the Emberas will show you their traditions, their way of dressing and how they fashion their elaborate handicrafts. The Emberas will also perform their traditional dances and music for you. You will also have the opportunity to interact directly with the Emberas.
